Behind the Scenes: A Look Inside the Making of a Masterpiece

A behind the scenes look into what inspired the creation of Jamar Simien's masterpiece- "The Best Ever", an oil painting of Heisman winner Joe Burrow. An award-winning artist and LSU alum, Jamar personally reflects on the past two decades of LSU football as he crafts a photorealistic oil painting of the #1 NFL draft pick. Featuring an original soundtrack, the video celebrates Louisiana culture, the legacy of LSU football and the connection to Simien's journey as an artist.

Because of a high interest for the original painting, Jamar Simien will auction the original in 2022. Bids will start at $10,000. Portions of the proceeds from the auction will go to The Bobbie Moon Art Scholarship Fund and the United Way of Southwest Louisiana. This will be a ticketed black tie event at the Hilton in Downtown Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The host will be a prominent voice in Louisiana sports. There will be wine, food and entertainment for the evening. A limited amount of tickets will be available.
